If you'll be out of town or have a situation where you don't need meals for a month or two, we offer the option to pause your meal plan and temporarily stop deliveries for 4 to 8 weeks at a time.
Note: Pause is only available to customers who have fulfilled their meal commitment or who purchased their oven without a meal commitment.
To start a pause, go to your Account Settings in the Tovala app or at my.tovala.com. Select "Meal Plan"→"Delivery Settings" then "Pause Deliveries". You'll then select the date you want your deliveries to resume.
Your pause starts with your next unprocessed order. For example:
- If you pause on a Monday morning before the Wednesday at 6pm CT order deadline, your pause will start with the next week's delivery and you will not receive meals the following week.
- If you pause on a Thursday afternoon AFTER the Wednesday at 6pm order deadline, your order for the next week will still be delivered and your pause will start the FOLLOWING week.
Your subscription and preferences remain saved for when you return.
You'll receive an email the week before the ordering deadline for your next order after your Pause ends to remind you to select meals.
- If you don't select meals for your return week before the order deadline, we'll fill your order for you.
If you want to end your pause early, go to Account Settings then "Meal Plan" then "Delivery Settings" and select "Resume Deliveries". This will restart your deliveries immediately so be sure to check the main Order screen and make sure you have meals selected or skipped before the Wednesday at 6pm CT order deadline.
- You can also restart deliveries early by selecting "Resume Deliveries" on the main Order screen or from within a given week's menu. This will resume deliveries immediately.
