How do I preheat my Tovala Smart Oven?

While it is not necessary to preheat the Tovala Smart Oven before cooking, certain modes do allow for preheating if you choose to use it.

NOTE: Never preheat your oven before cooking a Tovala Meal–our chefs have already built preheat into the cook cycle, and you don't want your food to overcook! 

Preheating your oven

1. Select a mode (Broil mode cannot be preheated).
2. Set your desired Temp.
3. Press Start. (Make sure your food is NOT inserted yet.)
• You'll see the message “Preheat Estimate” in the Time display screen, along with an estimated countdown telling you how much longer it'll take your oven to preheat. Your oven will beep when the desired Temperature has been reached. 
4. Once your oven reaches the desired Temperature, add your food, set a Time, and press Start.
• Your oven will hold the preheated Temperature for 10 minutes after the “preheat” is completed and then automatically shut off if you never set a Time or press Start.

How do I use my oven without preheating?

1. Add your food to the oven.
2. Select a mode.
3. Set a Temp.
4. Set a Time.
5. Press Start.
