Meal Order Receipt – Tovala Support

Receipts are available after your order processes on Wednesday at 6pm CT the week before your order would ship.

To view the receipt of your most recent order:

Tap the "In the works" order on the home screen of the Tovala app or my.tovala.com.
Tap the $ icon (iOS app) or the "Receipt" button (Android and web).

To view receipts from past orders:

On the home screen of the Tovala app or my.tovala.com, go to "Past Orders" in the top right corner.
Scroll to the order in question.
Tap the $ icon (iOS app) or the "Receipt" button (Android and web).

Each meal is listed on your receipt along with any cost for that meal beyond the standard $12.99 meal price.

For Premium Meals:

Meals with premium ingredients like Filet Mignon or Salmon will have an additional charge beyond the standard $12.99 per serving.
For example: The Sesame Soy Prime Rib & Broccoli with White Rice meal has a $2.99 surcharge so the total price for that meal is $15.98 and you will see a +$2.99 next to that meal.

For meals that come with an Extra:

Some meals can be purchased with an additional side like garlic bread, egg rolls, or mozzarella sticks for an additional charge.
For example: The Peanut Coconut Curry Chicken Bowl can be purchased on its own or with a side of Chicken Egg Rolls for $5.99. When purchased with the Egg Rolls the total meal cost is $18.98 and you will see a +$5.99 next to the meal.

For Two-Pack Meals:

Two-Pack Meals have a lower per serving price than single meals but the two servings together cost more than a single standard $12.99 meal.
For example: If a Two-Pack Meal is $9.99 each serving then the total cost for the two servings is $19.98. This is $6.99 more than the standard $12.99 meal price so you will see a +$6.99 next to the two-pack meal to show the cost beyond the standard meal price.
- - Buying two of the same $12.99 standard meal would be $25.98 so by purchasing in a Two-Pack you save $6!

At the end of the receipt you will see:

Standard Meals: the cost for your meal plan size with the standard $12.99 per serving meal price.
Extras, Premium, or Two-Pack Meals: the subtotal for the additional charges for any Extras, Premium, or Two-Pack Meals beyond the standard meal price.
Shipping: the shipping charge for your order
Discounts: any discounts or meal credits applied to your order
Taxes: if applicable in your state; some states tax groceries while others do not
Total: total charge for your order
