What are Tovala Extras?

Extras are appetizers, sides, desserts, and other food items meant to complement the meals in your meal order.

• The option to add Extras lets you easily add delicious à la carte offerings to your weekly meals.
• From cakes, brownies, and biscuits to egg rolls, mac & cheese, and more, Extras will make all of your orders extra delicious!

Where do I find Extras?

• Once you have selected all of the meals indicated by your meal order, you will see an orange “Continue” button in the bar in the bottom right-hand of your screen
  
  
  
• After you select Continue, you will be taken to the Extras shopping experience. From here, you can add as many Extras as you want to your meal order.
  

Will my Extras and meals arrive in the same box?

Most often your extras will arrive in the same box as your meals. However, there may be some circumstances when we will need to split your order into multiple boxes. On these occasions, we expect you to receive all of your boxes on the same day, but your Extras and meals will be in different boxes. Please check all of your boxes if you believe you are missing items.

 If we do split your meal order into multiple boxes, you will only be charged once for shipping.

Can I remove Extras from my Order Summary after I have added them?

You can remove or change your Extras selections in the same period as you can regularly adjust your meal order. This is true for Meal Add-Ons that are paired with meals as well. 

To edit your meals, Add-Ons, & Extras selections:

1. Visit your Order Summary
2. Remove and add selections as needed.
   1. If you remove a previously selected meal, you will be returned to the order screen to complete your weekly order. my.tovala.com

Do Extras count towards the number of meal selections needed for my meal order?

No they do not. Extras are items meant to complement and accompany the meals in your meal order but do not count as meal selections.

How do I cook Extras?

You can cook Extras the same easy way you cook your Tovala meals: 

1. Scan the QR code on the recipe card 
2. Let your Tovala oven do the work!
