While your Tovala Smart Oven works best when using the Tovala App to unlock its full capabilities, you can still use the buttons on your oven to access its basic cook modes in the event that you can't connect to WiFi.
I want to cook a Tovala Meal, but my oven won't connect to WiFi!
Don't worry, you can still cook your Tovala Meals! You won't be able to scan the QR code on the meal's printed insert without a WiFi connection, but you can use your oven's Reheat button as a substitute.
Reheat mode is a multi-mode automated cook cycle. It's an amazing button to use when you want to make leftovers melty/crispy/juicy again. But you can also use it to cook your own meals.
- Press the Reheat button on your oven.
- Set the time (you have two options)
- Reference the cook time range on the front of your Tovala Meal insert. Use the longest time in the range and add 2 minutes.
- Reference the Tovala App to see the cook time for that meal for your specific oven model and chosen protein under Past Orders. Add 2 minutes to the cook time listed for that meal in the app.
- Press Start.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for cooking your meal to the safe minimum internal temperatures required by the USDA and FDA. Verify internal temperature by utilizing a food thermometer. Failure to follow safe food handling and cooking practices may increase the risk of foodborne illness. Learn more.
** Please contact Tovala Support if you continue to have issues with connecting your oven to WiFi, and our agents can help troubleshoot or process an exchange if necessary.**
